The Good Economy

On what kind of ethics is the political economy grounded? Why is the finance market determining the way for politics? Why do the actors of the political economy strive to limit democracy?

The Good Economy (Hyvä Talous) gives an answer to these and many other questions. The Good Economy studies the policy of putting the different aspects of economy on a ranking scale, the ethics internalized in the political economy and the reigning virtues in the economy of today. The book also presents alternative models to develop the economic praxis and to execute political economy.

The book tells what a good economy is and how the economy of today could be ameliorated.

The Good Economy is a report of the fourth research project run by the Left Forum published in 2011.
